Love the choice of words

Goodday,

I am Andrew Likierman,Head of Audit at Barclays. In the course of my auditing, I discovered a floating fund in an account which was opened in 2005 belonging to a dead foreigner Late Richard Neupane  who died in 2006. Every effort made to track any member of his family or next of kin has since failed; hence I got in contact with you to stand as his next of kin.

My intention is to transfer the sum of $5.1M in the aforementioned account to a safe account overseas. I am therefore proposing that you quietly partner with me. For your assistance in this venture, I am ready to part with 50% of the entire funds to you. After going through the deceased person’s records and files, I discovered that:

(1) No one has operated this account since 2007

(2) He died without an heir; hence the money has been floating.

(3) No other person knows about this account and there was no known beneficiary.

If I do not remit this money urgently, it would be forfeited and subsequently converted to Barclays Bank Coffers which will benefit only the directors of my firm. This money can be approved to you legally as with all the necessary documentary approvals in your name.

However, you would be required to show some proof of claim which I will provide you with and also guide and guard you on how to make your applications.

Please do give me a reply so that I can send you detailed information on the modalities of my proposition. I completely trust you to keep this proposition absolutely confidential.

Kindly forward your telephone and fax numbers where I can reach you so we could concertize this deal. I look forward to your prompt response

Sincerely,

Andrew Likierman.
Barclays Bank.

Oh Dear

I really really hope this is a spoof, found this link on postsurf.com

http://watermanleague.com/index.php

SUPs are the most ridiculous unfunctional piece of water equipment available.

I’m all for using whatever board suits the conditions from long board to lids, but I have yet to see any place where SUPs have any benefit over any other board unless it’s flat and that puts them in the same category as kayaks.

This video makes me think it’s definitely a spoof. The whole “Out of control” thing followed by guys not in control of their boards.

SUP World Tour

In other news check out Kelly’s crazy boards for J-Bay, which is live here. Trials are on today.

Start of a trend

So we got these leittle salt and pepper shakers which I plan to put in all sorts of hilarious and endearing positions, hopefully learning how to light static situations in the process.

Here’s the first. I should probably think of a witty name to do with the fact that they are seperated by a window. ut it’s late and I’m tired

Non-Surfing Fun

Posted November 18th, 2008 by admin No Comments

Hey all, I have been not surfing or shooting for the past week, but that doesn’t mean an end to fun times.

First off is some reminiscing with Zig & Zag, I’m definitely getting the DVD.

Here’s the video to Them Girls, and something I hadn’t seen before Zig & Zag covering The Beasties Boy’s  Sabotage as Elvis. There’s loads more stuff on youtube.

The there is the new Star Trek trailer to get excited about, it looks bloody awesome.

In more movie news we watched Zack and Miri Make a Porno the other night, way over the top with ridiculously crude language and crazy amounts of boobs and balls, but kinda funny. I guess I just like Kevin Smith’s stuff anyway.

Hopefully will get around to sticking some shots up before the end of the week.

Thanks to everyone who’s been in touch about the magazine. Cheers.

Sorry for the break in transmission, been pretty hectic at work.

Here’s a few from last weekend.

Myself and my lady as Richie and Margot Tenebaum

Myself and my lady as Richie and Margot Tenebaum

Couldn’t believe it when I got there and there was another Richie Tenebaum, and he had a real beard, and he ended up winning the prize for best costume. grrr.

I did manage to make my costume into Horatio from CSI Miami and a pimp during the night though. Fun.

Garry has an amazing talent for remembering where things are in space, managed to go over this a few times while writing it. I definitely would have madea mess of it, look closely and you can see individual sparks and Garry’s face.

Garry had a load of people fooled with is old man costume, very realistic in bad light.

Stupid kids

Oh yeah, didn’t get any shots at all yesterday, didn’t even pull the camera out of the bag.
Nothing happening in town so I headed out towards the skatepark in Ballincollig.

Nothing much happening there except a load of kids hanging out smoking and drinking.
Had to stop a fight between a big twelve year old and a small ten year old.
They were getting in the way of my skating. :P

No idea

Sorry couldn’t think of a relevant title for the post.

It’s funny the smugness I feel while recycling. Even though I have no idea how well any of the stuff is recycled.
I’ve done my bit so I feel happy.
Moron.

My nose is still at me so that injection isn’t a miracle cure :(

This is the reason I failed my NCT, now I just have to remember to book a re-test.

The kids are alright

This week I have been mostly listening to …. Old Songs.

I love listening back on music I grew up with.
Obviously not all of it, take a bow and get out Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit.

But for the most part myself and my friends grew up listening to some pretty good music. I was just listening to a Placebo mix on the way in this morning and they flippin’ rock. They are so so good.
Also Weezer’s Green Album is awsome, so catchy and sing-along-able.

Maybe it’s because we were playing music ourselves that we listened to good stuff, I dunno.
We used have the funniest conversations about who got who into this band or that band.
Ah good times.

Here’s one of Dryad’s Saddle, a.k.a my good mates Garry Carroll and Alan Fitzgerald.
