Put Your Hands Up For Detroit
Ollie “The Fla” O’Flaherty stalling hard for the pit man.
Get your Buzz on.

Man oh man
What a manky day.
Here’s to happier times.

On a side note, Aussie/Irishman Glenn Hall is competing in a pretty damn important heat this evening. If he makes it through he has a very good chance of being on the CT next year.
Should be on in maxing Sunset here http://www.triplecrownofsurfing.com/oneill/index.html?x=122232
Work with what you got.
Was inspired by this site, www.bodysurf.com.au to just get out and take some photos so headed down to the local beachy this morning to see what I could see see see….
All I’ll saw is I’m very glad I’m not working with film right now.
Mostly splashes and bubble, but managed to sneak off this one which makes it look like the best cork session ever.
Also scared a dog with my camera as I got out of the water.
It’s goddam wet.
On your head be it
I’m sick of being sick.
At least it’s flat.
Apparently Laird is after taking Lowey out of it. Poor fecker, get well soon.
Just trying to get new sets of images together to put up on the actual site, this will hopefully be accompanied by a purchase option if anyone is interested. Found this peach while going through them.
Hugh Galloway takinga not insignificant lip on the head. The light was amazing this morning, but let me know if you think it looks over photoshopped and fake.

Managed to stay standing, fair play Hugo.
Completely unrelated. Sick video of Adriano in the Galapagos. Some seriously sick waves in there. Totally deserves to be in the top 5.
Square Kegs Sham
Sorry for the lack of postage.
There has been waves.

More B-roll to come in the next few days as I get through the shots.
Stef Skaj above.
The Ocean Breaths Salty
The ocean has some set of lungs on it.
Here it is trying it’s hardest to blow Lowey over.

That’s Mickey filming their Power of Three movie in the water. It’s out in next months Carve (as far as I know) and should be crazy good if last years video is anything to go by.
Poor Lance, I hardly knew you.
Well that’s not strictly true but it’s more poetic than I knew you really well.
Anyway, Lance is on the way out, some (insert derogatory adjective here) woman crashed into the back of us about three weeks ago and he has to be written off. It’s a sad sad day for the surfing community of Lahinch. Many good times were had in Lance, like all those times I rushed eagerly down a new country track to find a wave and ended up getting stuck in mud (three times to be exact, I don’t learn from mistakes well).
So the hunt is on, we need a new surf mobile. I’m thinking a Nissan Almera would be nice, apparently they keep on going for ever, which is nice but they seem possibly a bit low for the back roads of Clare.
We’ll find out.
Here’s Ollie “The Fla” O’Flaherty sliding into a nice keg to keep the surf interest going.
Bring the noise
My camera can only shoot off a burst of 6 shots in one go and then it needs a few seconds to get itself ready for the next sequence, but I have a tendency to have an itchy trigger finger.
I always hit the button too early so I get the setup but never the money shot.
Hey, at least it gives me something to work towards.
That’s Damo Conway on his way to a super keg, he got spat out about 50m past me.
Kinda wish I’d been on land with a video camera, ah well.
A little bit of sunshine
Well here’s a nice little barrel with some evening sun shining through the back. It’s not sunny today but there is some swell around. Hoping to get in tonight myself.
Big swell due early next week, lets hope we get some nice winds.
